The Mediterranean Tourism Knowledge Exchange & Policy Forum
Malta
25-27 November, 2025
Website: https://mediterraneantourismresearch.com/
The two-day Mediterranean Tourism Knowledge Exchange and Policy Forum will bring together researchers and
policymakers to exchange news, views and research findings. It will empower Mediterranean Tourism regional
and economic development, policy and planning, through evidence-based practice. The Forum supports tourism
and hospitality organisations and destinations to develop their competitiveness and become more sustainable,
attractive and competitive. Regenerative tourism should actively regenerate, revitalize and positively
impact both the environment and local communities, making destinations more attractive for both visitors and
local residents. Creating mutually beneficial relationships between tourists, communities and the
environment, tourism should ensure that all parties co-create value and benefit from the experience.

Hospitality and tourism have been in the era of transformation both digitally and in the way, businesses are
operated in the industries. To embrace such changes, IMPACT2025 addresses the theme of “Transforming
Hospitality and Tourism for Sustainable Future”, aiming to serve as a platform for industry executives,
government officials and academics to interact on transformational trends and insights, to share research
findings and practices, to explore creative pathways, and to envisage strategies to the end of capitalizing
on transformation for evidence-based education, research and industry practices.
